Cost recovery audit of ExxonMobil slated for September Completion

The Ministry of Natural Resources, on Tuesday, signed a contract with a consortium of Guyanese auditors to the tune of some US$751,000 to conduct a cost recovery audit of ExxonMobil’s post-2017 (2018-2020) expenses.

International firms have dominated bids to audit oil giant ExxonMobil’s cost oil claims for oil production in Guyana. This was evident when the tender documents were opened last week at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) in the Ministry of Finance.
